A recently renovated campground, Al Salam Camp Bidiyah offers accommodation in Qābil. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. We stayed here in January for two nights. Our Deluxe Tent was comfortable, with a king size bed, air conditioner, mini fridge, and water boiler. WiFi is only available in the reception area and the WiFi tent, but we also sometimes have connection from our tent. Breakfast and dinner are both delicious. It’s buffet style with a variety of choices. Lots of veggie options as well! In addition there is a bbq station for dinner and an omelette station for breakfast. For two days it was perfect. There is a sand dune right behind the hotel, it takes about 15 mins to walk up and it’s perfect for watching sunrise and sunsets. We came with our 4x4 but it’s reacheable via a regular car. There is only about 10-15 mins of dirt road, the rest are paved.
