Located in Bocas del Toro, a few steps from Bluff, S Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This hotel is truly a hidden gem, we stayed for 4 nights over Christmas and it was simply amazing. The staff are so attentive and kind, they arranged laundry for us and pointed out lots of wildlife around the hotel, we saw monkeys and sloths! The rooms are big and very comfy, with aircon. The free breakfast is absolutely delicious, and so is the food in the restaurant at lunch and dinner. The pool gets sun nearly all day, and then just across the road is the most gorgeous golden sand beach which is virtually deserted - it is quite isolated but if you want to feel totally relaxed and disconnected, I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Situated within a few steps of Istmito and less than 1 km of Y Griega Beach, Santuarios del Mar provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bocas del Toro. We stayed in an over-the-water bungalow. It was roomy, clean, and had a fabulous view of the bay. It was quiet even though it was on a main road. Property was well maintained.
