As pretty much everyone reviewed, this place was great. I decided to take the 1:30 pm bus from Arequipa to Cabanaconde. It sucked that I got there at 9 pm, but I thought it would be better than having to wake up at 3 am for a bus and then start my hike right afterwards. A few days out I messaged Leandro. He sent me an image of the restaurant menu to order something in advance in case I arrived after the restaurant closed. Sure enough I arrived late. The team cooked me a pizza, stayed open for me, and then heated up the pizza when I got there. The included breakfast was great as well. Sorry that I don’t know everyone’s name, but thank you so much to Leandro and team for making my visit wonderful. I’m a world where many people do not care, I really get the impression that this place does care about their customers overall experience at the Colca Canyon!

The terrace with an exceptional view on the city and the surrounding volcanos. The breakfast on the terrace in the morning. The quality of the food.

Owners are fantastic people who will assist in every way, without expectations.
