Michael is an excellent host, very professional, with good advice re restaurants and how to get to various sightseeing spots. The breakfasts were plentiful and well made. They did laundry for us and ordered taxis for us twice for a reasonable price. This is a guesthouse, not a formal hotel, so if you are looking for fancy, then this is not the place for you. What you will get is a comfortable bed, a warm room, lots of hot water available for showers, and a tea station where you can help yourself. We had some great conversations with Michael and really enjoyed our stay. We felt at home there.

Sometimes we come across places that we should be grateful to have had the opportunity to visit. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the owners and had our lunch. We were alone in the hotel and Lucho invited us on a hike through the Sacred Valley and then light the 'fogaza' to tell us stories about the Incas and Peru. I can say that these were the best moments of our stay in the country. I would like to thank the hosts immensely for their attention during our stay. I would also like to highlight the friendliness of the staff as a whole. Thank you and I hope to see you again in my lifetime.

With mountain views, Spirit Of The River Lodge is located in Cusco and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. The property was absolutely beautiful, the rooms were so comfortable and the views spectacular. Claudia was the most wonderful and kind host, with the best recommendations and delicious food. Their llama Tupac and dog Max were amazing, and we loved every moment we spent there. We will definitely come back, and are so grateful for their hospitality.

Owner Romulo and his staff are so nice, they are always ready to help and tell you everything about Cusco. The hostal is on the outskirts of the city (close to some Inca relics) and I had to catch ride to MachuPichu at 3am, Romulo was really considerate that he said it’s probably hard to hire Uber so he booked a cab for me and ensure a fair price is charged. The room is clean and cozy, very good value. I hope the best for everything for them. Hopefully one day I return and chill with them!

Set in Cusco and only 35 km from Wanchaq Train station, Sky Dome Peru offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. I used the Sauna and did the weaving activity, and both were truly amazing! I was feeling a bit unwell due to the altitude and felt the sauna relieved some of my symptoms. The weaving was very special- we collected nearby plants to make the dye and was taught by the owners and one of the elders the full weaving process. Of course, the rooms and view were beautiful. I was blessed with Lama visitors in the morning which was very special! I am definitely coming back to try the other activities and spend more time.

Well located in Cusco, CASA HOSPEDAJE EL LABRADOR provides an à la carte breakfast and free WiFi. It is located less than 1 km from Wanchaq Train station and features a shared kitchen. Nice small hotel I do suggest it! Cosy , warm, polite guest.

Located in Ollantaytambo, 18 km from Bus Station, Hostal EL VIAJERO en Ollantaytambo provides accommodation with a shared lounge and private parking. Most comfortable place I’ve ever stayed in for the price point! The bed is comfortable and the bathroom clean. The family is also lovely, when I let them know I had no warm water in the shower they fixed it immediately and were generally very helpful and kind.

Staff were very flexible and helpful, they helped us plan our trip to Machu Picchu and booked us a taxi, the place itself is spacious with great views and comfy beds

Located in Santa Teresa, Cusco region, Hospedaje Quillabamba is situated 4.7 km from Huayna Picchu. With a private bathroom, units at the guest house also provide guests with free WiFi. Mario was an excellent host and the accommodations were great value
