Ühise puhkeruumiga hostel Amigos Dauin asub Dauinis, 13 km kaugusel Robinsons Place Dumaguete'ist, 14 km kaugusel Dumaguete kellatornist ja Quezoni pargist. + good cleanliness + comfortable, big bed + reasonably fast and reliable WiFi + very friendly staff (especially Bong) + good location, just a few min walk from restaurants, mini-supermarkets and some dive shops in Dauin + relatively quiet neighborhood (except for some normal chicken/dog noises like everywhere in rural Philippines, but with aircon as white noise it was not very loud)

La Tortue Diving Resort Dauin asub Dauinis. Kohapeal on aed, erarand, ühine puhkeruum ja terrass. Dauini rand on 2,5 km, Robinsons Place Dumaguete 14 km ja Dumaguete kellatorn 15 km kaugusel. Our diving and care given to us by ma'am Marielle and Nico was just exceptional. We love this place and would go back. The level of diving taught here is quite high and just outside the resort. There's already a lot of activity and coral reefs in the area. I did my open water here and I was able to dive with good bouyancy in Balicasag. I was also told when we did our dives in other places that my bouyancy was good especially having had not as much experience and it's because of the training here. The staff is also extremely well trained. The food is high quality .Better than even the more expensive hotels we stayed in the past. They really took care of us and helped us plan everything smoothly so we're able to get to our ferry on time. The pricing is also very cheap and very fair. You still need to bring cash but this was the only place we visited that had an arrangement where you can do e transfer but receive cash back and this helps so much travelling in the province. We chose La Tortue because my partner is french and I wanted him to feel safe and have a good trip during the first time we brought him to the Philippines. We don't regret choosing here. Also, the costs for laundry, food, pedicab were very reasonable. So reasonable that our fare of 600 php from the port to Dauin. The pedicab who took my cousin and his partner from Manila tried to charge them 1200 PHP or double the cost. It's ridiculous. We trusted their pedicab driver so much. We asked them to take my cousin to the port even if they were staying in a different hotel. You won't regret choosing this place. It's kind of funny how their instructors were all just here on vacation and somehow. They never wanted to leave so they end up working there. Also, their staff followed them even from where the couple originally worked.

Aia, tasuta privaatse parkla, eraranna ja terrassiga Kookoo's nest eco-lodge asub Siatonis, 40 km kaugusel Robinsons Place Dumaguete'ist. Our room was great! We would have almost slept with our heads on the beach with the terrace open if the rain/wind hadn't disturbed us every morning. Thanks for the hospitality! The owners helped us a lot with our onward journey. Even when we came back because we had an emergency, everyone was very helpful. Snorkeling was great - unfortunately only at high tide. Low tide is a bit annoying, but you sit on the beach and eat/drink your way through the menu :-) We can recommend a trip to the lake and waterfall. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any other beaches worth mentioning nearby. Probably a day trip to Apo Island would be OK - not too far from Kookoos Nest. Our offseason conclusion: Rooms/huts perfect, food perfect, beach/snorkeling perfect (if weather/water is right), people/stuff friendly!

An oasis of calm - perfect antidote to the modern world. Beautiful garden and metres away from a deserted beach. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The menagerie of friendly cats and dogs was a huge bonus for me. Can’t wait to return 😀

Offering a garden and garden view, Ging House Rental is located in Dauin, 600 metres from Dauin Beach and 14 km from Robinsons Place Dumaguete. We took a risk because it had so few reviews and boy are we glad we did! Absolutely amazing property! It has a full kitchen, comfortable bed, wifi, and the whole house to lay out in. We were diving in Dauin for a week and walked to Bongo Bongo (5 minutes?) and are glad for the peace and quiet. The host family are so kind and spent so much time making sure we were happy. Couldn't have been happier to stay and can't wait to stay here again the next time we're in Dauin. P.S. the host family lives 40 meters away, so it's incredibly easy to check in and out!

Situated within less than 1 km of Dauin Beach and 13 km of Robinsons Place Dumaguete, Passage Point Guest House features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Dauin. New, clean and tidy place. The host and staff are amazingly friendly and make you feel welcome. They helped me when I wanted to rent a scooter, finding transportation for my next destination and replied to all my concerns. I liked the option for a single visitor room. I didn't need more than that.
