Located within 1.4 km of S. Sebastião Aqueduct and 1.3 km of University of Coimbra, Vila Julieta Guesthouse provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Coimbra. Sonia and Jonah were amazing hosts. We had a terrific stay at the Vila. They took time to welcome us, to provide us with useful information about how to get around, where you eat and what to do. Our room was very comfortable even though it was not the biggest. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. There was even a make-up mirror. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. Even for my wife who is wheat and dairy allergic. Many alternatives were available. The light in the room was very pleasant because it was not the usual white blinding light. Our room was overlooking a small garden and next to the breakfast room there was another bigger garden. The Vila is located only 10 minutes away by walking distance from the town center. By the way, Coimbra is a very lovely student town that we highly recommend to visit as much as to stay at Vila Julieta.

The staff were amazing, the room comfortable and pool was a great facility in the hot weather. Only a short walk into town. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located in a small and characteristic street in the center of Tomar. The area is not noisy. The building is newly renovated and it shows a lot of the old features, such as part of the old floor in the reception area. The building has a lot of style and character. The room is large and well equipped. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady at the reception and this added a plus to the full experience. A very nice place to spend a holiday in Tomar

This has been THE loveliest holiday experience: from the legacy of the place, that is so beautifully shared and continued by Luis (the host and great-grandson of the original property owner), to the meticulous attention to detail and beautiful design in every corner, with complementary fresh fruit, cake and house liquor, sparkling clean rooms, a simply perfect breakfast in the scenic courtyard (including fresh eggs from their own chicken), all the way to the brilliant recommendations for restaurants, fado concert, parking tricks to visit the old town and more… Simple fresh dishes and drinks (with fridge self-service) are available all day.
