We chose this hotel because of the views and location- which is exactly what we got! The peacefulness and views of Delfim Douro are absolutely fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food was great!

For me, 10 is too low score for this property. This is one of those places where you want to come back. You don’t feel like guest, but returning friend. It’s old building with modern facilities, everything what you can expect from hotel. What makes difference is dinner, go for it. It’s cooked with passion and accompanied by local wine(s). You meet everyone who is there - place isn’t big, just 8 rooms. You mingle, get to know new people and enjoy atmosphere. And food is delicious, and not same every day according to those who spent few nights there.

With its own orchard and vineyard, this 4-star hotel is situated 800 metres from Lamego’s centre. Guests at the Lamego can also savour the local cuisine for lunch and dinner.

This is a great hotel. Excellent location with nice view of the hills around Lamego. Good infrastructure, nice pool, spa, etc. Rooms were spacious with nice view of the hills, bathroom also very nice. The service was outstanding, at reception Jessica and Rita, both lovely. Same at brekfast, which was excellent. We had dinner at the hotel, it was also great quality food.

Absolutely stunning place - the owners have done a fantastic job of remodelling this house. A beautiful view and great facilities. Very comfortable bed. We had “fun” driving the extremely steep and winding roads in our large car. Fortunately the owner was on hand to direct us when we got a bit lost. Definitely make sure you ask him for an exact map and location and definitely drive up the main road instead of the tiny narrow road up to the property. Your sat nav will probably take you the shortest route so you’ll have to figure it out. We walked into Pinhão twice. It’s a 30 minute downhill walk (your legs may feel it!) but it’s straightforward. Take a large umbrella and watch the dogs on the way down. We also went to the most beautiful winery Quinta Do Jalloto - that isn’t that far away up the hill to the main village and well worth a visit. The views are spectacular. We did a tour, had tastings and charcuterie platter. Antonio the owners son is an incredible and very passionate host. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommended. The photos don’t do it justice!
