Probably the best place I stayed at during my trip to the Azores! The location is great, the facilities are spotless but most of all Joao is a great host!

Loving Strangers Hostel ligger i Madalena och erbjuder en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en bar. Boendet har karaoke och ett gemensamt kök. Fantastisk plats att bo på! Jag önskar att jag haft detta som bas då jag utforskat de omgivande öarna. Att komma hit var som att komma hem till en ny familj. Redan vid grinden ropade ägaren mitt namn. Mitt namn var skrivit på sängen och min hylla. Detta ställe är något i särklass och du kommer vilja komma tillbaka bara för att bo här. Middagen tillsammans med de andra gästerna var jättetrevlig. Jag pratade med många och det kändes som jag fick många nya vänner under bara ett dygn. :) Jag kommer definitivt tillbaka.

Pico Studios ligger i Madalena i regionen Ilha do Pico och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. The apartment is very spacious (photos don't do justice), beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable and fully equipped. Plus: the convenience of free parking and its location in Madalena center. The host was very responsive and helpful, so this is the perfect place to stay on Pico!

Barrocas do Mar ligger i Prainha de Baixo, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi, luftkonditionering och tillgång till en trädgård med en terrass. This is the best accommodation that we have ever had! We were in the big appartment T2 and felt really like home, as it has all facilities you need. The kitchen is well equipped (we cooked a lot, as you get local fresh fish in Madalena for very good price). There are also barbecue facilities which we didn't use because it was rainy. You have an ocean view from every room and we really enjoyed those views, also watching the waves on a rainy day. We used the whirlpool too, which is shared by all the apartments. On most days, we were the only guests. The whirlpool has a sea view too, however, you cannot see much from there, as the cover is fogged up because of the steam. Stilm, the cover is good as it protects you from rain and wind. There are some cats outside coming and asking for food :) One day, we had a visit of lizards between the stones of one of the walls. Apparently, they were hiding from the rain (it was pouring outside). A washing machine and a dryer are available in the laundry room. All in all: you have everything you need there. And also, the apartment is just nice: very good design additionally to the views that you have.

Miradouro da Papalva Guest House - Pico - Azores ligger i São João, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi, luftkonditionering och tillgång till en trädgård med en terrass. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Helen and Vera did everything to make our trip as pleasant as possible so we felt right at home in the guesthouse. The guesthouse is in a good location with great views over the ocean. The suite we stayed in is spaceous and comfortable. The breakfast was super good with local products and Helen and Vera made something special (pancakes, banana bread, etc.) every day to surprise us. Breakfast is served on a covered outside patio where we sat at a round table with the other guest, which we enjoyed a lot. We met nice and interesting people and had great conversations. Helen and Vera also gave us great tips for restaurants, sights and even running trails. We stayed at the guesthouse for nine days and really loved it. We highly recommend it.
