Ubicado a 3,3 km de Åbergs Museum, Bålsta Studio Houses ofrece un jardín y alojamiento con aire acondicionado, patio y wifi gratis. We booked the accommodation outside of Stockholm, because it was on our way through the inland of Sweden. We did not expect to have such a great stay at Brenda‘s place, even though the pictures looked great and there were good reviews about the place. Arriving at the Studios we were welcomed warmly and instantly felt comfortable with this great couple that runs the place. The studio has a nice veranda, there is a pretty garden in the front. This accommodation had the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in vacation houses. I don’t think you’ll gonna miss anything for cooking, except if you really need an egg cutter. There is a stove, an oven and a microwave, a kettle and a capsule coffee machine. Everything seems really new and was super clean. We had the choice to sleep down in the room or up at the loft. It was really cozy at the loft on the mattresses, although they’re quite hard. We were really sad, that we could not book another night, as we already had other accommodations waiting for us. But we can definitely recommend to stay at least two nights. It is a cute little suburb, you get tips where you can take a walk and it is a really refreshing stay after visiting the busy Stockholm.

Buscábamos un alojamiento rural típico sueco cerca de Uppsala pero de fácil acceso. La casa es preciosa, es como una casa de muñecas con muchos rincones preciosos. Tiene varios salones, un porche cerrado y varias zonas con mobiliario en su zona exterior. Tiene conejos, gallinas, columpios, una cama elástica, una casita de juego de madera, una barrica para baño caliente en exterior... Además un granero donde hacer eventos. También hay una tiendecita donde a veces hay pan, queso miel y zumo de manzana hecho por ellos. Estuvimos solos en la casa y es como si fuera todo para nosotros, estuvimos cómodos y muy tranquilos porque a partir de cierta hora se van y te quedas a tu aire. Al ser de madera suponemos que si hubiera mas huéspedes quizás la convivencia seria algo mas ruidosa. Sofía nos atendió perfectamente de manera próxima y hogareña. El desayuno riquísimo. La casa también tiene una pequeña zona de office en una de las zonas comunes con nevera y microondas. No hay supermercados, ni comercios ni restaurantes cerca.

Este íntimo hotel de Uppsala se encuentra en un edificio del siglo XIX, a 100 metros de la catedral de Uppsala. Location was perfect. Room is so big and the little nook to read at the high window was amazing. The bathroom with the bath was lovely !

The neighborhood was peaceful and idyllic and still only a short drive away from the city of Uppsala. The apartment was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. The washing machine in the bathroom was a nice bonus. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

We loved everything. It was very quiet and relaxing, just what we needed. Everything you would need is available and then some. Beautifully decorated inside. A shame from the weather otherwise a perfect terrace to spend some hours. There is even a piano and a guitar we enjoyed playing. Looking forward to staying again one day. Definitely recommend this lovely house and host.

The apartment was everything it was advertised as. The only appliance I used was the coffee maker, but the TV and kitchen are modern. The wifi was great for helping me connect with my people in the US, every evening. It was nice knowing I had a comfortable and mostly quiet place to stay, every night.
