Set in Kanchanaburi, 400 metres from The Jeath War Museum, บ้านใต้ชุกโดน BaantaiChukadon guest house offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking and a terrace. This was tremendous value with top rate service - like 5 star service! Everything in the room was new and super clean. Streaming services were free on a large flat screen. The bed was super comfortable. Water and Coke were free! There was a NESPRESSO machine in the lobby, along with books you could borrow for free. Bicycles were free to use. You could rent a motorbike and it was brand new, 150 cc engine. The owner Nu, even dropped me off at the train station after my stay for free. For the price I paid, this was far better than a hotel I recently paid twice as much for. Best value/comfort/service hotel I have stayed at in Thailand. If this is available when you are in Kanchanaburi - just book it immediately without hesitation.

We loved our stay at La Levee Resort. The views across a beautiful bend in the river with a backdrop of farmers fields and craggy mountain peaks were absolutely stunning. The grounds were beautifully landscaped, and the pool was gorgeous. Our room was well-appointed, spacious and comfortable. Even though it is a tent, it was very clean and kept cool by the AC. The included breakfast was very good and freshly prepared, and the on-site restaurant had delicious food at reasonable prices. We loved having all of our meals on the deck overlooking the river. There were fun activities included in the price that our family really enjoyed. These included a 30 minute ATV ride, a zip-line, wall climbing, and archery. The location was great. It felt quiet and remote, but there was plenty to do just a short drive away. If you would like to explore the surrounding area, it is very helpful to have a car. All of the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Location was amazing - views from the river villas is insane. Staff were so helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond expectation. (we don't speak Thai and they didn't speak English but still they made sure we got everything we need)
