Situated in Khao Lak, 1.2 km from Bang Sak Beach, Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. It was the best! The hotel is very clean and convenient overall. The room, the beach, the pool… the bed was I think the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, the bathroom was amazing, wide, clean and practical. The staff was amazing! They were so friendly and all spoke very good English. The beach is really good too. At first I was scared because they warned us there might be jellyfish but we didn’t see any and everyone else was also enjoying the ocean, so I don’t think it’s common. The sunbeds get busy during the day but we always managed to find one. There are really nice restaurants/bars and massage places on the beach too next to the hotel. There is happy hours during the day at the pool bar and you get 1+1 on the drinks! The breakfast was good with selections wide enough. We haven’t tried the hotel’s restaurant but ordered room service once and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a top resort experience and we definitely want to come back.

The staff is super kind and relaxed, we had a very nice experience! Great location by the beach, where we were almost alone and I could enjoy a massage by the sound of the sea. Our bungalow had a good view on the pool. We could also rent a sidecar to go around the island with the kids and the food was delicious and generous!

Beautiful large and well designed apartment, lovely grounds and the beach was amazing. The staff were delightful and could not have been more attentive.

It is beautiful, clean, and incredibly peaceful. The hosts are absolutely amazing, kind, welcoming, and always helpful. You truly experience this level of care and hospitality at Khanittha Homestay. It’s a complete stay where you don’t have to worry about anything. Transportation, food, tours everything is taken care of, all while enjoying a calm, friendly environment with wonderful people. The treatment feels truly VIP. I especially recommend staying here because you’re supporting the local community, something you don’t get at regular hotels. Be sure to take a walk around the village to experience the kindness and peaceful atmosphere firsthand. I don’t have enough words to describe how happy we were during our stay.
