High-quality interior, very tasteful design. Gym is okay, but could use more treadmills. Great place for a peaceful stay.

Great property on a wonderful bay and beach. The view from the seafront rooms is unbeatable (although they don't have A/C). The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Renting a motorbike at the hotel and touring the island was great and convinient.

We really enjoyed our stay here. After having to change our room after the first night due to an unpleasant damp/ mold smell, we got a beach access ground floor room in one of the new buildings (area 6), which was exceptional - very fun for our son to jump straight to the pool from the room's terrace. The staff was extremely prompt and helpful with the room changing situation. Super comfortable bed and pillows, lovely bathroom. Breakfast was amazing, with so many options to choose from. Highly recommend the Drift beachfront restaurant for dinner - one of the best steak and grilled shrimps we ever had! Beach was also very nice, with fine sand and amazing viewing of the sunsets.

The whole experience of being in touch with nature, staying in separate villas, beautiful decoration, lovely pool, amazing food and drinks with really fair prices, free minibar, cleanliness, kindness, consideration, stunning views, lots of fruits and plants on site, lovely walks—it was just amazing. We never expected to get such good service. We also tried their Spa with Thai Massage and Massage on the beach. It was so lovely, and we felt like princesses.

I especially recommend staying here because you’re supporting the local community, something you don’t get at regular hotels. Be sure to take a walk around the village to experience the kindness and peaceful atmosphere firsthand. I don’t have enough words to describe how happy we were during our stay. Our stay at the Marriott Beach Resort & Spa in Khao Lak was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everything exceeded our expectations and made for a truly unforgettable holiday. The breakfast was exceptional—incredibly varied, high-quality, and beautifully presented, with options for every taste, both Western and Asian. All of the resort’s restaurants are excellent, offering consistently delicious food and a great dining experience. The staff truly deserve special recognition. Everyone was friendly and professional, but Bob and his team at the reception desk stood out for their outstanding service. They were extremely helpful, attentive, and genuinely customer-focused, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, providing everything you would expect from a top-tier Marriott resort. Relaxing by the Quiet Pool was wonderfully peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The beach is breathtakingly beautiful—pristine, expansive, and ideal for enjoying stunning sunsets. The surrounding area also offers some great dining options. There are several excellent local restaurants nearby, with Blue Sky being a definite must-visit. In short, this resort offers the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and relaxation. We would highly recommend it and would love to return in the future!

Set in Ko Yao Noi, 2.4 km from Klong Jark Beach, Mukda offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Marina and her family is the most caring and attentive host I have ever seen in two months of traveling around Thailand. From the first day Marina made sure I didn't need anything, she taught me how to scooter, took us to different points of the island herself and was always available to help us. The hostel offers a free breakfast, Jim makes sure to respect everyone's preferences (sweet / salty / vegetarian...). I ate every lunch and evening at the hostel and the dishes were very good and super cheap (incomparable with the prices of the island) which helped me a lot. There is free water available as well as coffee, and tea. You can also buy fruit and other drinks! I also entrusted all my clothes for a washing machine and everything went very well, they were ready the next morning! The hostel is located a stone's throw from a small super pretty beach (my favorite on the island), and the path that leads to the hostel overlooks the main road with a supermarket a total of 10 minutes walk. There are also restaurants on this main road. You can rent motobikes at the hostel and this is cheaper than others of the island. Marina made a small Christmas tree and we took a picture all together. Initially I had only booked one night and I stayed there for a week. Magical !!
