First of all, a huge thank you to Ann! who took such great care of me after I was bitten by a wasp. She helped me get to the hospital, assisted with the visit and the medication, and even waited with me during the night. She is a truly kind and supportive person, always ready to help with logistics and anything you may need. On top of that, the room was great, spacious, and fully equipped, perfect for a comfortable stay. The location is also very convenient, just a short walk from the pier. Thank you so much for everything — hope to see you again soon!

A family of 7 stayed at this lovely unique hotel. The hotel is minimal, but it has everything you need. Also, it's super clean, and the staff are lovely😍🇹🇭

Everything was amazing, the night in the tent was perfect for the price and the bungalow was a pleasure as well. All the staff is just full of good intentions and vibes :)

This is my first time to stay in a Hop Inn Hotel and I am majorly impressed. For me the Staff members Yata and Thiprada were Exceptional! They were friendly; kind; cheerful; pleasant and above all….they were very helpful to me. They are both excellent Ambassadors for Hop Inn and for Ranong and Thailand. Well done to Hop Inn in employing 2 such hard working and cheerful receptionists. Their English is also very good ☘️! The Hotel location is great and is just a few 100m from the Big C shopping centre-mall. It is also close the the Sky Park with wonderful views of the mountains and town of Ranong. The Rooms are immaculately clean (thanks to the wonderful cleaning staff)! The air conditioning is great. The rooms are Roomy also. I was so impressed with Hop Inn that I’ve booked to stay with Hop Inn in Krabi also.

My stay at Gelathai was simply perfect! Host Philip and his lovely wife went above and beyond to make me feel completely at home – their warm and helpful nature truly makes a difference. You can tell they put a lot of passion and attention to detail into everything. The location is unbeatable – it’s easy to get anywhere quickly, whether it’s the beach, the city, or local attractions. Absolutely recommendable! Another highlight was the top laundry service available right in the house. Without any lie: i never had such a good and clean Laundry-Service 👍🏻 They also organised a TukTuk for my transport to the pier right on time. I can highly recommend this place to anyone, and I will definitely be back!

We don’t even know where to begin. From the very first moment we stepped into Kaori and Clay’s little paradise, we were completely enchanted by the peaceful beauty of this oasis they’ve created — a place that, for us, is the definition of pure relaxation and well-beeing. Kaori and Clay gave us the warmest welcome, together with their sweet dogs and cat, and we felt very comfortable right from the start. There are three spacious wooden bungalows, built by Clay, on the property, plus one where Kaori and Clay live themselves. The lovingly designed houses are surrounded by jungle and fruit trees, with plenty of space around each one, so everyone has their privacy guaranteed. It’s perfect for people seeking peace and quiet and for anyone who loves nature. We felt deeply relaxed within no time. On the lower level of the bungalow, there’s a large table, a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, and a bathroom under the open sky. A wooden staircase leads up to the upper level, where you’ll find a beautiful terrace and a cozy bedroom, complete with a fan and a mosquito net. In the mornings, you wake up to the sounds of the jungle and can watch the sunrise while spotting different birds — including the hornbill, which is typical for this region — and even a kind of squirrel. It’s simply a dream. Most mornings, we were greeted by the cuddly cat “Miaumiau,” and the very sweet, well-behaved dogs would sometimes come by as well to say hello. Whether you’re an animal lover or not, you simply can’t help but fall in love with them instantly. Clay spoiled us with the best bananas we’ve ever eaten, and Kaori’s granola is an absolute insider tip — it’s addictive! Being around Kaori and Clay was always super pleasant, relaxed, and uncomplicated. Since we could hardly bear the thought of leaving this unique and beautiful place, we already booked again for next year.

Great hosts, great nature surroundings, great atmosphere, one feel like at home. A great experience. I can highly recommend the big house for those in search of peace, nature, simplicity. Thailand as it once was. Basic though, but it has to be so to perfectly fit in the surroundings.

Everything. This is a very calm and quiet place. If you are lucky enough, you can see hornbills from the bungallow. It is absolutely worth the money. Owners are great people. The room is big.
