The guest house is just a very short walk from the historic park and the weekend night market. The room was very spacious, and the bathroom designed so that the shower water was contained and didn't make the entire floor wet. A refrigerator was a nice touch. And there was coffee, toast and cookies in the morning -- not exactly breakfast but something to hold you over until you can walk to one of the many nearby restaurants.

Phu Thai Resort ligger i Mueang Kao-distriktet i Sukhothai, 19 minutters gang fra Sukhothai historiske park. Her er en terrasse, gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. We stayed here for two nights and were very happy with the stay! The room is of good size and very clean. The house has a fridge outside the room where you can store things and the bathroom is well equipped. The highlight here is the host. We needed help stitching something up and he took it to town for us and got it done. He allowed us to use bikes for free which we used to explore the historical park. He even took us for free to the bus station the day we left. The neighborhood is super quiet and relaxed. You are 15 minutes by bike from the main area of the town. We highly recommend staying here and visiting the ruins!

What a wonderful experience, starting from the owners and employees attentiveness, to the cleanliness of the property, until the perfection of the bungalows. The owners and the employees were always ready to provide a nice smile and support, when needed. Breakfast was everyday different, with always western and Thai varieties. There was also an active request from the owner, to see if there were dietary restrictions and if anything should be adjusted. There’s no lunch or dinner available at the property. The overall property has a very relaxing atmosphere, with a very leafy garden and clean pool. The bungalow has a very spacious and luxurious feel, with a big bathroom that holds a bath and shower. The location is very quiet and nice, however if you don’t have your own car, it might be more tricky to get around. The neighbourhood has a very restaurant, “Sweet rice café”, which serves the best authentic Thai food in Sukhothai and delicious homemade ice-Cream and (on the spot made) desserts. It takes up to 3’ walk from the property. If you have a craving for a nice coffee with a light lunch, you can go to “Take a break”, which is also only a small walk away.

Everything about the Lotus Place Sukhothai was very pleasant and relaxing. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfasts to order was delicious, filling and with the omelette and cheese omelette made to perfection.

Virkelig hyggeligt sted,nemt at finde, rent og pænt. Dejlig pool. Morgenmaden bestilles dagen før, dermed er der fokus på madspild og maden er laves først når du er der. Det regnede om morgenen, så personalet havde hængt paraplyer til os. 😁
