Beautiful grounds with flowers and butterflies. Comfortable bungalows. The best part was the hospitality from Kookai and her family. She arranged all of our transport between islands and the airport— it was fast, well priced and hassle-free can’t recommend this place enough. Absolutely fantastic customer care. Easy to get anywhere on the island for just 50baht per person, they have a little motorcycle taxi at the hotel we never had to wait could easily pop into town whenever we wanted. Walking distance to lovely Charlie beach.

Houses are very beautiful, they are located 10 min from the pier what is very nice I think because it is very quiet there. Everyone working there are super friendly and the breakfast is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay at Mook Ing Lay. It is in a great location right near the pier and the village. The family running the hotel were super friendly and delivered a fresh fruit plate each afternoon. We stayed in the pink house which had a large veranda and was perfect for enjoying the evening breeze from. The room was large, clean and had a very comfortable bed. We would definitely come back.

Great location near shops, restaurants and Tuk Tuks for Charlie Beach. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. If you want a western breakfast you can't beat their sourdough toast and delicious homemade yoghurt. Their homemade coconut ice cream served with mango and peanuts is sheer bliss. They also have a shop with a much more interesting selection of clothing than anywhere else on the island. I'd definitely go back.
