We really liked this place, it was very interesting to stay in an oasis, very memorable. We had our own little house, spacious enough, hot water in the shower with good pressure, a kettle in the room. The garden is lovely, there were lemons, tangerines, roses, other flowers and pomelo in January. The owner and his wife were very welcoming and kind, they explained some interesting things about the garden when we asked, and called us to watch how dates were being picked in the neighboring plantation, which was really interesting! We pre-ordered set dinner (lamb as the main course) for 55 TND, it was cooked by the time we arrived around 8, tasty and good value for money. For breakfast, they served "deglet nour" dates from their plantation, very interesting to try. There's a shop where they sell dates from the plantation and date-based products such as date seed "coffee".

On the way, our car got stuck in the sand, and within just two minutes they sent a vehicle from the camp to assist us, which was incredibly kind. The camp’s location is really unique. Waking up early in the morning to watch the sunrise over the endless desert is unforgettable. The rooms were comfortable and cozy.

Our stay in Douz was one of the best parts of our Sahara Desert road trip. The apartment is in the heart of the town, making it easy to walk anywhere. The location was even better than we hoped. The apartment itself was large, clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the space felt open and welcoming. The host, Faoizi, was on another level. He was always ready to help and kept in touch with clear communication. One evening, we joined him at his café to watch the World Club Cup semifinal, which made us feel part of the community. The highlight of the stay was the 4x4 sunset jeep tour into the Sahara. It felt real and unique. We enjoyed Berber food cooked in the desert and over a cup of traditional tea while learning about local life. We arrived in Douz as guests but left feeling like friends. L'Oasis Zarga dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante en Ksar Ghilane. Absolutamente todo! Que maravilla de lugar! La jaima genial, con muchas mantas. No pasamos nada de frio. El personal super amable. Baños limpios. Duchas con agua caliente. Parking. El restaurante brutal! Muy recomendable la cena y el desayuno x 10€ mas. El ratico nocturno en la hoguera. Las vistas al desierto. El alquiler de quads en la puerta del campamento y el lago termal a 5 min caminando.
