Kai Zanzibar Hotel and Spa está situado en Nungwi, a 43 km de Kichwele Forest Reserve y a 45 km de Cheetah's Rock. We really appreciated the peaceful adults only atmosphere and the serenity of Kai. We had 2 separate visits to the spa for massages and were very happy with the treatments. In addition to breakfasts, also had some lunches and dinners at the Kai restaurant. The chef does an excellent job with many items made in house. The cookies and cakes were delicious. All the staff did their best to look after us and make things go smoothly during our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything required. Cleaning team were great !

The hotel itself is thoughtfully laid out, well maintained, and has a calm, authentic atmosphere that really fits Pemba. The food deserves special mention: consistently excellent, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Meals were something our group genuinely looked forward to each day, and dietary needs were handled without any issues. Traveling with a group can sometimes be challenging, but the team at Dhow Beach Hotel was accommodating, organized, and attentive at every step. Their professionalism combined with warmth made a huge difference. Our group loved the experience so much that we’ll be returning annually.
