We didnt want to be in a big hotel where we are just a number and our stay was amazing. Max the owner is true gem in hospitality, he really loves hosting and giving you the true Zanzibar experience, the staff is also nice & if you looking to be treated as if you are home Babalao is the place. Theres also great Resturants that Max recommended and we tried them...our favourite was Barack and the "fresh from the sea" seafood barbaque on the beach is an amazing experience. Theres tons of activities at your doorstep and you spoiled for choice and come back to your home fully welcomed and its peaceful like a small "big" family. Thanks Max and your lovely wife for giving us the true Zanzibar holiday experience.

The sea facing room we got had a nice cushioned area where you could lie down and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the waves, which was extremely relaxing in the morning.
