When we arrived, there was some urgent construction underway to improve the units. While this caused a bit of disruption to our stay, we decided to check out a day early and informed the team. To our surprise, they took the initiative to contact Booking.com on our behalf and arranged a refund for the final night. On top of that, they offered us an additional $50 as a gesture of goodwill. They weren’t obligated to do any of this, and it truly reflects their commitment to excellent service. What could have been a disappointing experience was completely turned around by their responsiveness and care. The hosts were quick to respond to any queries, the location is fantastic, and the rooms are comfortable. At the end of the day, it all comes down to service—and in this regard, they truly excelled.

Comfortable Accommodations: Gravity Haus Truckee-Tahoe in Truckee offers family rooms with private bathrooms, balconies, and modern amenities. Some rooms include a balcony. Room, services and location everything was perfect. We stayed for two nights in Truckee to discover the area around Lake Tahoe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We used also in the morning the “Dryland (sport area)” to do some exercises and in the evening after hiking also the sauna and hot tub. The best thing was the good air, as Gravity Haus Truckee is located in nature. We can definitely recommend this place.

Black Bear Lodge is situated in South Lake Tahoe, roughly 0.8 km from the lake and 1.6 km from The Gondola at Heavenly. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace. the room is so clean, they put 2 piece of welcome chocolate on the bed which was so delicious. I can feel they care about the customer so much. The lobby is so cozy for couple to have a drink. Last but not least, the location of the lodge was totally perfect, we can walk to the lake round 6 mins. I will be back soon absolutely.

The lobby with s’mores was so beautiful and all the people working were so helpful. We brunch only this time and the restaurant never disappoints. A shout out to Stephanie in the lounge, always makes us feel welcome.

Located at Northstar at Tahoe Resort in Truckee, The Residences at One Village Place by Hyatt Vacation Club features free WiFi access and private parking. It features its own pulse-driven gondola. Villa was very attractive, clean and comfortable. Perfect location next to slopes.

Boasting a year-round and heated outdoor pool, this Truckee resort features a modern villa with a furnished balcony and an outdoor fireplace. Northstar ski-in/ski-out access is provided. Beautiful place to stay! We are coming back next year with the family.

Nestled in the trees on the historic Lake Tahoe west shore in Tahoe Park, this cozy adults only bed and breakfast is just steps from a private Lake Tahoe beach. Wonderfull place! We particularly enjoyed the breakfast system

We had a fantastic stay at Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge. We arrived after check-in hours, but the staff had thoughtfully prepared a late check-in package for us, so everything was seamless and ready — we were able to head straight to bed after a long day of travel. The lodge itself was incredibly comfortable and spacious, with plenty of room to relax. The gas fireplace was a real highlight, creating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, especially with the snow outside — it made for a perfect Lake Tahoe experience. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the accommodation was very well kept. We also noticed the recently refurbished jetty and grounds, which look excellent and would make this an ideal place to bring a boat in the summer months. Highly recommend for a comfortable, well-run, and relaxing stay by the lake.
