We arrived at the homestay practically straight from the Ho Chi Minh City airport. The owner was incredibly helpful even before our arrival. She gave us tons of great advice about the bus, places to visit, and tickets. This location is super close to Tra Su Cajuput Forest, so we didn't waste any time in the morning before heading out to see it. The room with the private bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. The morning view was amazing when we opened the window. The old lady even helped us with our ripped backpack and wouldn't take any money! This room was the best value for money we could have asked for.

The property is about 7 km from Chau Doc Market and Chau Doc River, which offers accessibility to Cambodia’s Phnom Penh. The view is fantastic from the top of the mountain, especially at sunrise and sunset. Each room is like a little bungalow with your own patio to sit out on. The staff was very accommodating and super helpful in locating me a motorbike driver to take me to the nearby temples as soon as I got there as well as a taxi to take me to the Cham village early the next morning. Chau Doc was the highlight of my entire trip to Vietnam, in part because staying Victoria was so nice, and I wish I spent more time there. Definitely visit the Hang Pagoda! Dinner was also tasty with big portions.
