Guests do share a bit of space with the family, but the compound is spacious with several relaxation areas for guests. Summer has created great suggestions for restaraunts and walking or cycling tours. She can book boat tours. She kindly books onward transport. Summer is engaging and full of interesting information about the city, region, and Vietnam. The homestay is located in a peaceful neighborhood away from the busy city center. It is a nice but slightly walk to the city center, or one could take a taxi.

Homestay Nam Hàm Luông cuenta con vistas al río, está ubicado en Ben Tre y tiene un restaurante, cocina compartida, bar, jardín y terraza. Quiet and peaceful, cute mini houses and great gardens, plus a nice view on the river. Family is nice and inviting. Communicating was a bit hard, I mostly spoke to Han, and he always made sure I was okay. Homestay was a bit a far away from markets or anything else, but you should know that it’s mostly countryside. The good thing is they offer to use the bicycles for free or you can rent the scooters for a fee as taxis or grab are pretty hard to catch one.

Una zona rural tranquila, donde poder disfrutar del auténtico Vietnam. Tuan es un anfitrión fantástico, nos hizo una ruta en bicicleta por la zona y un taller de cocina que nos encantó. Es un lugar 100% recomendable.

Ubicado en Ben Tre, Ecoco Homestay Mekong tiene alojamiento con wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratis. En algunas unidades, también hay una cocina equipada con un anafe. Todo espectacular, la familia, las actividades, la zona. Es un must ir! Lo que me voló la cabeza es la comida: ingredientes y platos nunca vistos, deliciosos y que no puedes encontrar en restaurantes. Hasta me compre su libro de recetas y todo!

The hosts are so nice! Even if not everyone speaks English, you can communicate with everyone. The dinner at the accommodation is excellent, the rooms are very clean. The perfect pool for relaxation. We could try a lot of different local snacks. I definitely recommend this for a few days of authentic southern Vietnam.

Beautiful location for cycling or wandering around with a moped. Meals were delicious. Hosts are extremely kind and helpful.

If you want a beautiful garden setting, some tranquility away from the city and a lovely warm welcome then come to Coco Lodge. Our first few nights in Vietnam after and absence of 20 years and it felt marvellous. You’re away from noise and pollution, out in the countryside but near to Ben Tre. Mr Thai and his family are wonderful and cook a fabulous dinner too! Use their free bike and amble along quiet lane and see some of Vietnam unspoilt by tourism. Highly recommended

The setting, structures and landscaping just lovely with great attention to detail and lots of quaint little spots to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The meals were delicious, generous and great value. Everything was clean and well cared for. Plenty of hot water, drinking water and even a fridge of cold beverages that you could help yourself to and just add to your tab. But the absolute best part was the owner Minh and his wife , brother and staff. They were MORE than helpful. They provided great instructions on how to get there and had us picked up promptly. It was very hot the day we arrived and they took pity on us melting Canadians and upgraded us to a room with air conditioning at no extra cost! They booked our tour, all the different transport to our next destination and even provided photos of what to look for .And when our phone charger died they sent brother to town to purchased what we needed so we didn’t have to spend half our day trying to find a phone store, deal with the language barrier and probably have a very difficult day. This Homestay goes above and beyond to make there guests stay memorable and stress free. The whole staff came to wish us well on our journey and say goodbye. We felt like we were leaving family.
