Having been there in 2019, it still had the same comfortable feeling of security and comfort. Staff were friendly as always, rooms were clean and tidy and the farm stall well stocked.

After a long drive from Botswana that's what we needed a comfortable and clean place with all that you need for self catering. Fridge was filled with drinks which came with a price list. Mitat Guesthouse in Beaufort West offers family rooms with private bathrooms, air-conditioning, and garden views. Each room includes a kitchenette, dining area, and free WiFi. The communication from start to finish was excellent, the host Mart was amazing and the unit very spacious and equipped with everything as expected. Very private and quiet just what I needed after a long drive. Mart also gave me restaurant and takeaway options.

We had a fantastic two day stay. Loved the wood fire hot tub - did take hours to heat but it was awesome to use at night and staring up at the amazing stars. We loved walking around and patting and feeding the pet farm animals. The scenery from the deck was stunning. Highly recommend this place for a unique experience.

A peaceful and beautiful place to stay off the beaten track. Amazing sunset to watch from the patio and a Karoo night sky and stars which was priceless. ⁸Ordered braai packs, salads and roosterkoek from our hosts for our evening BBQ. It was delicious! Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend them strongly. Would go back without a doubt.
