But neither the street in front nor the entrance door turned out to be a nuisance (it was indeed quite comfortable). After it turned out that this was indeed the room I booked, we started to be happy and enjoyed our stay very much. Even the fact of not having the expected washing machine (some sports clothes were in dire need), had no negative impact, as washing was offered and issued properly. Trevor, Banash (?) and his colleagues couldn’t have been more helpful, attentive & gentle. The place was clean, modernly furnished and equipped with everything needed for an even longer stay. Even bottled water and milk were in rhe fridge. Oh, yes, a tea towel would be fine next time. The town is just around the corner. Frances café, 1 min walk, just great for breakfast. We would be happy to return to Esplanade Hermanus and their friendly staff.

Staff was AMAZING, room excellent etc! Home Suite Sea Point provided us everything we hoped from the last day of our trip (and more)! Will definitely come back again.

The entire complex, just arranged sooo lovingly and lovable - Super friendly and always caring hosts, yet giving us the feel of being in a private home, just phantastic, wish we would have stayed longer! Extended from 2 to 3 nites, wish it were weeks :-)

Amazing view from the room and especially from the sundowner deck. We enjoyed a nice sunset at the deck. The rooms are clean, beds super comfy and the towels are nice and soft. It felt like being at home. Good communication with the owner Graham. He sent useful info upfront and was there for any question. I would 100% recommend this place and for sure will come back when we’re back in SA.

Boasting garden views, @Mango's offers accommodation with patio, around 1.8 km from Christian Barnard Museum Beaufort West. Very nice and quite area. Very friendly hosts. The light in the bathroom was pretty dark, it could use some new lightbulbs. But besides that very spacious room 👍

Van der Stel Manor is situated in a residential area, 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. The restored Cape Dutch home features a garden and outdoor pool. The manager, Petro, made us feel at home and was always there to help us get the most out of our stay with local recommendations and, in general, a very kind person. All staff are excellent and service-minded. We enjoyed our room and the overall very comfortable atmosphere of the hotel. Next time we return to Cape Town, this is where we will stay. This is where we also had the best breakfast during our two-week stay in Cape Town in similarly priced hotels. The surrounding area is beatiful, close to nature, and extremely safe.
