A fantastic hotel and restaurant. The room was, as advertised, "Alpenchic". Very tastefully decorated and appointed with all the amenities. A functional bathroom with an extra large sink and a wonderful shower. Quiet room with a balcony on the back side, away from traffic. Excellent wifi. Staff were very friendly, warm and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were both outstanding.

Breakfast was typical for the area, served buffet style in a lovely room (with a patio, but no one was using that when I was there). Good coffee. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Zernez is a very quiet little town, with superb access to the Swiss National Park, whose visitor center is just a short walk from the hotel. There is a Coop for your grocery needs, a bank, a post office, a couple of restaurants. I was in a room that shares a toilet (one floor below) and a shower (two floors below). These were always available to me and well attended. The room was very nice, all that I needed. There is a train station, as well as bus stops, and a dedicated bus to the park, just across from the visitor center. Public transportation in Switzerland is the best I've seen, anywhere, and the SBB app is brilliant.

Just 4.3 mi away from the entrance to the Swiss National Park, Hotel Spöl Restaurant is located in central Zernez. It offers a restaurant with a summer terrace and free wellness facilities.

Hands down my favorite hotel of our 12 days in Europe— just a really simple yet beautiful room with high-quality finishes. The shower and bathroom were great and overall attention to detail across the rest of the hotel was excellent. Generous breakfast was delicious. One extra perk— it was only a block from an EV charger for our vehicle!

At the entrance to Zernez, Hotel Pizzeria Selva is just a short drive from the Swiss National Park. The sun terrace offers panoramic views of the Engadine Mountains.

Very clean and cozy. Staff was very nice and really helpful when we asked them for any info. Breakfast was varied and good. Rooms are not modern but they were nice and it has the mountain guesthouse charm. Beds are really comfortable. Overall strongly recommend it.
