Good communication before arrival. Easy check in and collection of booked bedding/towels. Site is by the water and close to a cycle route/footpath. Good children's playground. We stayed in lodge 1, Double room was very snug but fine for our short stay, mezzaine room beds good for under 12s and sofa turned into bed for my 17 year old, i would book a 3 bedroom for a longer stay. Very good kitchen facilities, good sized living space with high ceiling. Good shower room and heating. Nice veranda with table, chairs and a bbq. Able to park car next to lodge. Short drive to supermarket, butchers and pizza takeaway. Was a good base for exploring Zealand, close to Holbaek and Roskilde, and site seemed popular with caravaners and campers.

Wonderful host, cosy and casual living quarters and space to spread out and focus. I also loved the fact, that the B&B is built in a large converted chicken coop :) I was staying there with an assistant while working on a documentary about a local organic farmer.
