We loved our time at Hakuna Matata. The staff were so wonderful. We loved all of The excursions. They felt organic and genuine. We felt like guests rather than tourists. The sounds of the jungle were beautiful. The property really nice, clean and super comfortable. I highly recommend. It superseded my expectations.

Because of rain the bus I was taking to Mindo ended up taking 7 hours instead of 3,5, I ended up arriving at around 4 am. Roger was incredible and got up so I could check in and go to bed. Amazing place with super friendly staff!

Our family spent a wonderful week at Casa del Sol, and it was the perfect choice. The house has everything a family needs, especially a great kitchen and a very clean, comfortable environment. We loved the location—it is so close to local markets, parks, and delicious restaurants. ​The best part of our stay was Cornelia. She is incredibly kind and knows everything about the area! She helped us discover the very best spots in Napo that we never would have found on our own. If you want an outstanding place to stay with a host who truly cares, you cannot miss Casa del Sol! Very big apartments. Don Miguel was very helpful in everything. The street was not pavement however it was not an issue. The town is very safe even late hours. I recommended. I find everything in the apartment

The staff were very friendly when checking us in and showing us around. The room was big and clean and the bathroom and showers very close to the room. The location is great, very close to the bus station, restaurants and shops.

Big and bright apartment, super secure, comfortable clean beds, kitchen equipped with anything and everything you need, the apartment itself is obviously quite newly built so it really is exceptionally clean. The host was on hand in person but also through WhatsApp to help with anything we needed, taxis, dinner recommendations etc. For a family visiting the amazon or people traveling together it's perfect. A 10 minute walk to the bus station or its $1.50 for a taxi, the taxi rank also just happens to be about 50 meters away at the end of the block. 5*.

The house is centrally located just a few minutes walk from the center. The rooms are spacious, modern and stylishly furnished. The balcony promises a flattering view. The kitchen is totally modern and fulfills its purpose perfectly The air conditioners are new and impeccable. The whole apartment was totally clean. But the best thing about the whole hostal was the owner. David read our every wish from our eyes. His English was perfect and it was super easy to talk to him. The food was outstanding with fresh food prepared especially for us every morning including vegetarian options. We felt at home. We were totally well received and cared for with a love for detail. We even stayed a few days longer than planned... Actually, I don't want to leave at all! Thank you
