Our stay at Stay in Woods Cottages in Bogmalo was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. The cottages are beautifully maintained, peaceful, and perfectly located—close enough to the beach and main areas, yet tucked away in a calm, green setting that lets you fully relax. What really makes this place special is the owner, Joseph. His personal touch, genuine kindness, and constant willingness to help at any time set a very high standard for hospitality. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel completely at home—always available with a smile, helpful suggestions, and prompt support whenever we needed anything. If you’re looking for a comfortable, serene stay in Goa with warm, heartfelt hospitality, Stay in Woods Cottages is an excellent choice. We stayed at the Goa Grand Hyatt from December 31, 2024, to January 4, 2025, and had a mostly fantastic experience. Highlights: * New Year's Eve Extravaganza: The complimentary New Year's Eve party was absolutely incredible! While the staff was understandably overwhelmed due to the sheer number of guests, the overall experience was truly luxurious and memorable. * Exceptional Service: * Kartikya, the manager at the Pool Bar, was incredibly helpful when we arrived and all the kitchens were closed. He went above and beyond to find us food options. * Sudha at the Chulha restaurant was an absolute gem. Her kindness and warmth made our dining experience truly special. We enjoyed dining there multiple times thanks to her excellent service and the delicious food. * The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the staff, especially Moupiya and Kapil, were incredibly welcoming and attentive. * Water Sports: We had a wonderful time with Aquasail. Sanjay was a great coordinator, and we appreciated the hassle-free refund for the day we couldn't attend. One Minor Drawback: The beach area was unfortunately rocky and muddy, making it unsuitable for swimming. Overall: Despite the minor beach issue, our stay at the Goa Grand Hyatt was truly memorable. The exceptional service, luxurious amenities, and the unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration made it a highly recommended destination. Tips for Future Guests: * Book in advance for the New Year's Eve party to avoid disappointment. * Consider dining at Chulha Restaurant and enjoy the exceptional service of Sudha.

The hotel is right in front of the private beach. Although hotel is heritage hotel but it is kept well maintained. It gives a vibe of old age luxury. There is a water sports services in front of the hotel like parasailing, banana boat etc. It feels more open space as number of floors is not high in this hotel. I was given upgrade to room just in front of the beach so view from the room was good and I like the jhoola in the balcony and I enjoyed my short stay very much.
