B&B Il Bed and Bookfast
A wonderful warm hearted place for any (book loving) traveller to visit. It's run by a lovely couple with eye for detail. The B&B had everything you could wish for: easy accessibility, parking infront (a bit tight as it's in the mountain, but very doable), a grand variety of tea, a coffee machine, a wonderful relaxing shower, enough pillows to make a forth, an extensive book collection, small table games and children activities, they welcome pets, they will prepare a wine bottle opener if you request one, a lavish and delicious home made breakfast, and if you give them a heads up they can even serve you dinner (for extra costs, but very reasonably priced) in the B&B. It was a wonderful experience and I haven't had such a good and restful night in a long time.

The hosts are wonderful people, the room was very clean, and the cafe/bar downstairs has a great atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, the village is beautiful, and it's a wonderful part of the world to be in.

This was the highlight of our vacation. Great agriturismo located in a beautiful landscape. The views from the pool, terrace, and dinner area are extraordinary. A great place to relax as well as a great base for some day trips across Umbria. The food was spectacular - the best pasta I had in my life. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, we really felt at home. I have been to Italy 5 times and had some great accomodations, but this really stood out. We had a great stay, that we will not forget, and would love to come back soon!

La Castellana
Absolutely everything. Our host was exceptional. I needed urgent dental treatment, and he took the time to ring around and get me an appointment. I was incredibly grateful 🙏. His communication was top-notch. And the apartment was perfect in every way. Location (at the entrance of the castle, back in medival times, it was the clock tower and used to be the post of the kings guard. The entire apartment had everything single item you require and more. I can not tell you how perfect our stay was. Easy parking, supermarket across the road. Everything close.The best part was the bed. Pure Comfort. At night, it was so quiet. The bathroom window was so cute. The doors from the bedroom out to the inside walls of the castle were awesome. The lounge chairs are comfy and have lots of information about the area. Montepulciano and Assisi a short drive away. Locals were friendly, and inside the castle walls was like a fairytale. This is an amazing villa located in the middle of Umbria region. It takes approximately 1,5h to drive here from the Fiumicino airport by car, the route is pretty simple, and if you are not an experienced driver you'll still feel fine as only a very short part of the route goes through the mountain serpentine. We lived in the Azurro apartment, and it was very convenient for a family with two children. It also has a great mountain view from the terrace, the rooms are clean, and you can hardly hear other guests staying in the other apartments. The apartment has all the necessary minimums regarding the kitchenware (except for the dishwasher machine), but you need to think of things like garbage bags, or dishwashing liquid and sponges, etc. in advance and bring them with you (of course this all can be purchased in the nearest department store). There is no breakfast option, but you can drive to cafes and restaurants nearby, and also cook yourself (there is even an option to have a real barbeque). The water in the pool was always warm, and plenty of sunbeds were around it for all the guests. Tanja was very welcoming, and shared many tips on what to visit, and where are the key facilities nearby. We would really love to get back here!

We had a wonderful stay at Bed and Wine. The property is beautifully decorated, with a unique and charming style that creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Every detail feels carefully chosen, making the place both elegant and welcoming. The owner was exceptionally kind, friendly, and always available to help with recommendations and anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. The room was comfortable, spotless, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. We would happily stay here again.
