The owners were super nice and breakfast was good. They provided breakfast early enough (6am) to support our tour schedule. The walls are decorated with local culture paintings. One was being worked on while we were there. The hotel is very clean and very close to the main plaza and restaurants.

Our stay at Casa Vivencial Mama Vivi was truly unforgettable. The family was incredibly welcoming, and we had the chance to experience everyday life in the community in a very genuine way. It’s a perfect place to relax, with beautiful nature all around, thermal baths nearby, and plenty of small hikes to enjoy. Our young daughter especially loved helping feed the baby alpacas and joining in the activities with the family. The homemade meals were delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable. If you are looking for an authentic, peaceful stay full of cultural experiences and local warmth, this is the perfect choice in the Colca region.

The staff at the reception desk was second to none. Everyone was very professional and if they did not know an answer to a question, it was not long before they obtained it. The atmosphere was comfortably countryside and the food was delicious. The lobby area was decorated in typical Peruvian colors and textiles. The stone walkway to our bungalow room was charming with little flower gardens nestled along the way.

The location itself was absolutely perfect. The rooms absolutely in a good shape and very clean. Top cocktails at the Bar located to the hot springs. We also understand that this needs a lot of effort and manpower to keep it like it is. Therefore the hotel price is acceptable.
