OMG I went through all the reviews before booking and i was a little sceptical however,I took a leap of faith and boy i am grateful i did. Everything was perfect and perfect is an understatement. I used the back entrance to Mabalingwe which was the only reason I ended up speaking to the host cause i needed the code and she responded in time otherwise this was supposed to be a no contact stay ( that’s how easy) everything was. Was using a bigger car so no issues with the road. The pics on this app does not match it you must see it for yourself such a beautiful warm house. The cleanliness out of this world. Enough everything (utensils, cutlery etc) we were lucky to get visited but some cute animals every morning which was beautiful to see from the glass house. I am definitely coming back in winter

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Rock Cottage in Mabalingwe, and it was truly one of the most beautiful and special places we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, the Hostess, Lynette, made us feel so welcome with all the little extra gestures that went above and beyond. The cottage itself is stunning, beautifully designed with a great layout, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and set in the perfect location for game drives and other activities. The private entertainment area, pool, and breathtaking views made it feel like our own little slice of paradise. It was peaceful, private, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing break. One of the highlights was that we were able to bring along our two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Golden Retriever, who loved it just as much as we did. The fact that it was pet-friendly made our stay even more special. The service was exceptional throughout. Our hostess was absolutely lovely, and Emma, who brought us the cutest, beautifully laid-out breakfasts every morning, was such a delight to chat and laugh with as we started our day. These small touches made such a big difference and really made us feel at home. We loved it so much that we even extended our stay, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. Rock Cottage is now one of our new favourites, and we would recommend it wholeheartedly to any family planning a trip to Mabalingwe. We will definitely be back again!

The hosts were extremely helpful and attended to our needs when the weather turned our braai plans upside down. The location was exactly what we wanted with a view of the river and the whole atmosphere was great. Love that our pets will be able to go with on our next visit. If one wants an exclusive and private stay at an affordable rate this is a beautiful option. Our stay was very short, we will have an extended stay soon to experience the activities on the premises.
