An absolutely fantastic stay! Spacious, very comfortable, very well equipped room with nice terrace and an infra-red cabin. Very comfy bed. Very clean and tidy. Great breakfast. Parking spot. And, of course, an absolutely fantastic location!

Floor-to-ceiling windows are a prominent feature of Hotel Huber Hochland’s fitness and relaxation rooms which provide panoramic views of the Bannwald Forest and surrounding Maurach countryside. Although we stayed at Hotel Huber for only one night, it was enough to make us want to return as soon as possible. We arrived late in the evening, and the staff was so kind, allowing us to enjoy the dinner included in our half-board reservation. The dinner was simply wonderful – one of the best meals we had in Austria! The place is charming, and the rooms we stayed in were beautiful, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The hospitality of the Huber family was warm, caring, and truly attentive. The only downside was that our stay was far too short. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality – we highly recommend this place!

The cabin is awesome, the best sleep I got in Austria! The bathroom and showers are very nice, the heating in the cabin works great. The restaurant is beautiful and very good. They have a small shop where you can purchase milk and groceries for the day.

Posthotel Achenkirch Resort and Spa - Adults Only in Achenkirch has 5-star accommodation with a terrace, a bar and a tennis court. We discovered this hotel and its location completely by chance — and it turned out to be an absolute gem. The entire setting is beautifully designed, with attention paid to every detail. Although the hotel is quite spacious, the way it’s laid out gives it a cozy, almost boutique feel. The wellness area is truly exceptional. We especially appreciated the textile-free zone and were pleasantly surprised by how respectfully other guests behaved — it created a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and professional, and the facilities cater equally well to those seeking an active holiday or pure relaxation. We loved that you can borrow bikes, trekking poles, and backpacks — we took advantage of the bike rental and everything was in perfect condition and super easy to arrange. All in all, this is genuinely one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at — and we travel a lot. Highly recommended!
