Everything at Kalimera Beach is so thoughtfully designed — from the moment we arrived, we felt more like family than guests. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their attention to detail makes the stay unforgettable. You get ice for your drinks or to make a refreshing iced coffee (which became our daily ritual). There’s a water tap in front of each room to rinse the sand off your feet before going inside — a small but brilliant touch. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and you can tell a lot of love and care goes into everything here. There are hammocks, a beach gym, paddleboards, kayaks, and games — it’s literally impossible to get bored. The absolute highlight? Sipping an iced coffee while relaxing in a hammock right by the beach, watching the waves roll in. Sometimes you even get a fresh coconut! They also organized an incredible tour for us to Laughing Bird Caye — it was breathtaking, and we even saw a shark! We truly loved every second of our stay. Kalimera Beach is a place you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like part of the family. Can’t recommend it enough!

Alux House asub Placencia külas, 200 meetri kaugusel Placencia rannast. Kohapeal on välibassein ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega toad. Alux is close to the sidewalk so very easy to get around the island, beautiful property that is well maintained as well! The A/C is ice cold!!

The management were impressively, helpful, and engaged. The property is incredibly close to the water. The unit we stayed in had an incredible amount of interesting decorative items. Most I didn’t really notice until the third day there. Multiple excellent restaurants can be found just a short walk down the beach. The property has small paddle boats and fishing rods available to enjoy!

The best thing about the property was the privacy and the lovely garden location! You could be entirely independent and cook your own food using the fully equipped kitchen, or you could head out to nearby restaurants. You could also relax outside in the peaceful garden area and watch the wildlife. I would especially recommend this property for those who are remote working or need some peace during their holiday or trip.

Umaya Resort & Adventures is located on the beachfront in Maya Beach, just a 20-minute drive from Placencia. The staff was very helpful, helped to arranged taxi where needed, and also arranged a free shuttle from the airport and to the marina.

Olivia and Fabio were fabulous hosts for my three-night visit to their K’in Resort Lodge. In fact, the stay was my most positive experience of the nine nights on my trip to Central America. I hadn’t been to Belize before, and didn’t know what to expect in renting a bungalow on the Placencia Peninsula. What I found and got was a spotlessly clean room and bathroom, a wonderful bed, great pillows, modern air conditioning, a terrific shower with hot water I didn’t need to wait for, fast WiFi, a nice ceiling fan, mood lighting, a secure entrance and outside seating area, and even a refrigerator with a pitcher of cold water and a bottle of beer within. On each of the three mornings, Olivia brought me a frothy cappuccino, fresh-squeezed passion fruit juice, and a breakfast treat, also and gave me some company to make me feel at home. The last evening, we actually all shared a dinner, beer, wine, and rum together on one of their outside pavillions— just like we were family members breaking bread as a group. In all, I not only had a good rental adventure, but also made new friends, even getting to meet all three of their beautiful children. They even offered to drop me off at the Placencia Airport when it looked like my arranged ride might not materialize. If you like nature, want comfort, are up for meeting the people who run the establishment, AND don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for it, this is your place!

The staff were incredible- very attentive, kind and friendly. I loved the orientation upon arrival, the pool was beautiful with plenty of seating and the beach was lovely and quiet. Pictures don't do it justice. I really liked the continental breakfast- fruit, an egg, juice, coffee and a basket of 3-4 small baked goods with an easy option to upgrade for a fee to other menu items.

Seabird - Villa 26 is set in Placencia Village. The property is fitted with an outdoor pool and is located 2.1 km from Seine Bight Beach. There is also accommodation available for disabled guests.
