Everything at Kalimera Beach is so thoughtfully designed — from the moment we arrived, we felt more like family than guests. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their attention to detail makes the stay unforgettable. You get ice for your drinks or to make a refreshing iced coffee (which became our daily ritual). There’s a water tap in front of each room to rinse the sand off your feet before going inside — a small but brilliant touch. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and you can tell a lot of love and care goes into everything here. There are hammocks, a beach gym, paddleboards, kayaks, and games — it’s literally impossible to get bored. The absolute highlight? Sipping an iced coffee while relaxing in a hammock right by the beach, watching the waves roll in. Sometimes you even get a fresh coconut! They also organized an incredible tour for us to Laughing Bird Caye — it was breathtaking, and we even saw a shark! We truly loved every second of our stay. Kalimera Beach is a place you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like part of the family. Can’t recommend it enough!

Un merci spécial à Valesca et à Donatilla. Très bien situé à Maya Beach. Kayak inclus ! Bon petit déjeuner.

The best thing about the property was the privacy and the lovely garden location! You could be entirely independent and cook your own food using the fully equipped kitchen, or you could head out to nearby restaurants. You could also relax outside in the peaceful garden area and watch the wildlife. I would especially recommend this property for those who are remote working or need some peace during their holiday or trip.

L'Umaya Resort & Adventures est situé sur le front de mer de Maya Beach, à seulement 20 minutes de route de Placencia. L’établissement possède une piscine extérieure et un restaurant international. The staff was very helpful, helped to arranged taxi where needed, and also arranged a free shuttle from the airport and to the marina.

Situé face à la plage dans le village de Placencia, l'Itz'ana Resort & Residences possède un bar et un jardin. The staff were incredible- very attentive, kind and friendly. I loved the orientation upon arrival, the pool was beautiful with plenty of seating and the beach was lovely and quiet. Pictures don't do it justice. I really liked the continental breakfast- fruit, an egg, juice, coffee and a basket of 3-4 small baked goods with an easy option to upgrade for a fee to other menu items.
