The building felt very safe, and it was great that we could securely leave our luggage after check-out. The apartment itself was spotless, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the spacious terrace – such a rare bonus in the center! Everything felt fresh and new. It was also very quiet and we had a good night sleep. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Basel. Highly recommended!

Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a... the room and shower were so clean. the pillows were soft, so we asked them for a little harder pillow, and they gave us a very good pillow in a 2 minutes🥰 the bed was so comfortable, the size of the room was perfect, and the view was awesome👌 the resepction girls were so friendly and kind and helpful, espical thanks to vivi( I am not sure about the full name😒) she was soooo helpful and always happy to help you🌸🥰 and the best in this hotel was the breakfast👌👌 . the location was perfect, 1 minute walk to the bus and tram station, and also you can walk to the city centre within 15 minutes 👌🥰 Hope we can come to switzerland again and stay in this hotel again 🙏🥰🥰

Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. The staff were very professionals and excelents. Breakfast had many options and the localization of the Hotel is perfect to visit the city.

The hotel is excellent. The staff are so polite and always willing to help. The building is beautiful and well looked after. Breakfast was amazing!
