Perfect location in the very center of central Basel, right on the Marktplatz. This is now my go-to hotel for whenever business or leisure travel takes me through this part of the world. Fabulously friendly and attentive staff, a super cafe (popular with locals as well as guests: you're going to need to book if you want to have Sunday brunch there...), and very comfy beds with the most comfortable pillows I've ever slept on in a Swiss or German hotel. HIGHLY recommended and worth the price.

The reception and the restaurant are very wonderful, the staff are positive, very kind and helpful. I loved the place because of them and I will visit again.

Everything was comfortable and in good working order. We appreciated the full size kitchen and access to transit. The staff was very responsive.

Exceptional clean, very good location and everything was amazing. Cleanliness is very important for us and we rated 10/10 for it. I really recommend it, if we visit Basel again we will stay at the same place.

We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Les Trois Rois. Our room had several windows with a beautiful view of the Rhine River, which made the experience even more special. The breakfast was excellent, the hotel is beautiful and full of history, and the changing flower arrangements at the entrance were a lovely surprise, offering a different visual experience each day. The bar was outstanding, with a live pianist and a fantastic repertoire, creating a truly elegant atmosphere. Despite being one of the oldest hotels in Europe, the comfort and technology are exceptional — heated bathroom floors, automatic curtains, and even a TV that can be controlled from the bathtub. An extremely pleasant, elegant and unforgettable stay. Highly recommended.
