From the outset they were able to store our luggage which was a huge benefit. The apartment was clean, everything that we needed and more was included (towels, shampoo and coffee were all included), the apartment was in great condition to allow us to cook and to enjoy our time. The location is right above a grocery store which makes getting any essentials super easy. It is slightly outside of downtown core however with the Basel card, transit into town was a breeze.

Situated in the centre of Basel's Old Town, on the banks of the Rhine, Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois is one of Europe’s oldest city hotels, where such personalities as Napoleon, Elizabeth II, Pablo... We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Les Trois Rois. Our room had several windows with a beautiful view of the Rhine River, which made the experience even more special. The breakfast was excellent, the hotel is beautiful and full of history, and the changing flower arrangements at the entrance were a lovely surprise, offering a different visual experience each day. The bar was outstanding, with a live pianist and a fantastic repertoire, creating a truly elegant atmosphere. Despite being one of the oldest hotels in Europe, the comfort and technology are exceptional — heated bathroom floors, automatic curtains, and even a TV that can be controlled from the bathtub. An extremely pleasant, elegant and unforgettable stay. Highly recommended.
