1750. aastal ehitatud majutusasutus Ofenhaus on algselt leiva küpsetamiseks kasutatud. Majutusasutus asub omaniku talumaja kõrval, 1 km kaugusel Murteni kesklinnast. 2013. Traveling home from Munich the Ofenhaus was a perfect location for a stop over. The location is quiet but a short walk into town. Our host was friendly and on hand when we arrived, the studio was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Our only regret was we should of stayed another day to explore the area.

The double room was big and comfortable, the balcony is a nice small bonus. Breakfast is exceptional with very good local cheese and plenty of other choices. Staff was great and took special attention to our requests. I asked in advance for non gluten options and they took care of buying very high quality non gluten bread.

She received us in the night of Dec. 31st to Jan. 1st, made us feel at home and even toasted with us at midnight. It was really nice experience and ambience.

The hosts were warm, kind and helpful. The apartment is immaculate, very well constructed and cheerful. And it has everything. I mean everything. Fully equipped kitchen, bedding and bath. The hosts really thought to provide everything that you could possibly need.
