There is a hiking path to the lake of Murten just underneath the hotel. 20 minutes drive to Papiliorama, if you want to be there early. The best is to be at Papiliorama as soon as it opens in the morning. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We liked everything about this place! It was a nice quiet location only a 15 minute walk to old town Murten. The apartment was very clean and the host easy to communicate with. We loved the free parking and that it was pet friendly.
