The staff is really nice. I hardly recommend them. The great wall is 30 minutes walking, and the personnel of the hotel offer you a free ride to the lakeside wall.

The front desk and housekeeping services are attentive, with friendly and thoughtful staff who respond quickly to any requests. Facilities are complete, with stable hot water and air conditioning, ensuring a high level of comfort overall. It offers great value for money and is convenient for travel. This is probably the best homestay i stayed at in china. If you want to see the great wall at gubeikou then this is the ideal place. Wan Yong and his wife are so nice and the hospitality is unmatched. He picked us up at the trainstation and the next day he took us to the great wall at gubeikou at 4am. After we finished our trail he even picked us up at jinshanling. Also they cook really tasty and cheap food at the homestay themselves.
