The hotel is so convenient for spending a night near airport if you have a flight. Even if it is near, it is so quite, you can't hear plane noise. I got a room with a view on that river, it was spectacular, especially early morning. I really love the hotel. So clean.The breakfast also was good. If you have a long day you may take a didi to go to mall nearby (30min).

I fell sick during my stay and the room/bed was so comfortable it truly didnt feel bad staying in. The gym was excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The nearest two stations (jianguomen and chaoyanmen) are a distance away, like 15 min away but the path was lined with cherry blossoms while I was there so I enjoyed the walk back. One you hit the stations, the main attractions are few stops away.

The hotel is amazing, I am staying here for the second time and everything is great! The host is very nice, he speaks English really well and is ready to help with anything. It’s very convenient that you can leave your bags in the hotel after checking out or before checking in for a couple of hours before your flight. The interior is very unique and traditional, breakfast is very good, location is perfect, everything is close, we walked only 35 minutes to the Forbidden city.

The staff are exceptionally nice, attentive and very well spoken. You are greeted with a cup of coffee or tea, an introduction into the area and they accompany you to your room. While the rooms might be a bit small, you feel their care, even in the decorated hallways. The area is great as well, two metro station close by and big new mall. You can walk around the hutongs and enjoy the scenery as well. I will definitely stay here again!

While many of the signs were translated to English, it would still be difficult to navigate unless you knew how to read Chinese or had a tour guide (we had a friend (who grew up in Beijing) and her husband to help us, especially in getting the best deals!). Credit cards aren't used, so install Alipay (to pay for food and souvenirs) and DiDi (for taxi services) to load your credit card information. Please stay safe and keep your passport with you.

Great communication and very helpful, it took me a long time to get through immigration at the airport, I did a lot of research but it was still not easy, the signage is poor and there are two different types of entry visas', signage at the airport does not make it clear which is which, Sophie waited a long time for me at the airport as I have booked the transfer from the airport to the hotel, she was very patient and super friendly, talked to me about living in China etc, very helpful, also made sure I had money for the shops by overcharging for the room to give me Yuan in exchange. Organised my trip back to the airport in the morning, no issues at all. No TV's in the room but not sure what use they would be anyway for an English speaker with no Chinese language skills :) just make sure you can entertain yourself. Shops immediately out the front of the hotel if you want to get a couple of beers or buy some food, literally across the very minor road. Fantastic as a layover between flights.

The room is comfortable and the place is just around airport, they provide airport shuttle and its easy to get to the hotel through airport information counter, furthermore they provide simple and light breakfast.

It's best for the great wall.

It's best for the great wall. I recommend going to simatai for the sunset, jinshanling for the awe inspiring views and panlong for the untamed wild serenity. To get to panlong, you need to didi or get a car to the bottom, then pay 25rmb to get in. Once at the top, turn right (east). You have to come back the way you came(apparently there is another way down but we couldn't find it). Wear sensible shoes. Miyun isn't easy to get around. Factor in the price of hiring a car into your trip.

It was beautiful, the lack of transport made it difficult to get around, taxis are great but it takes really long to get around due to horrendous traffic The only other downside is the profiling of white people in general, a lot of showing passport but is not a deterrent

I had a really lovely time here.

I had a really lovely time here. It was easy to get around and a nice place to return to after a day out. The Spa was great. The only thing I would suggest is a shop with products i.e. toiletries, local crafts & gifts, clothes etc,.

Strolling through the streets of Beijing, wandering into hutongs and ancient courtyard homes, time seems to soften. Each step carries whispers of the past, gently pulling me into memories of another era. The highlights surrounding Wangfujing—especially the Forbidden City—feel like open pages of history, inviting me to step into ancient times.
