The location is amazing , next to river and close to city and all , staff speak English and are caring !! And helpful , Jerry and Kate made us each day watermelon and provided us with water or umbrellas etc to what we might need . Place has a charm and you get to experience peace and calm between everything else lightly away from noise of main streets and get to see the culture and people and environment . Would really recommend it .

Decoration of the hotel, unique, staff is amazing, focus on guest needs at every moment, rooms were very conftable, the view is amazing. Location was great as well... thank you !!! Wonderfully helpful and welcoming staff. The food was delicious and the views unbeatable. Definitely has potential to be the highlight of any China trip.

Boasting mountain views, Autumn Inn features accommodation with patio, around 26 km from Yangshuo South Bus Station. The property has garden and city views, and is 31 km from Darongshu Scenic Area. Loved this little "inn" on the pedestrian walkway right outside numerous restaurants and souvenir shops and people watching galore. Hard to find so enquire with owner before arriving as your taxi can't drive you to door. Hotel is everything one would want with a comfortable bed/linens, free water, cleanliness a priority, view spectacular and friendly staff who were so helpful and even spoke English for extra understanding. I loved this place for the cost it was super. Stayed only 3 nights but would love to go back for more. Location was perfect for tours and walking to river for cruises. Don't miss the handmade yogurt shop two doors down for the best fresh fruit/yogurt with nuts you'll ever try. And Rosewood Cafe for some international food which like me you might be craving is you are a foreigner and tired of oily veggies and rice!

Guilin HeShe Lakeside Resort-Free pick up train station stay two nights has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Guilin. Great place. Staff were phenomenal. Great inside decor too. A little out of town so will need a taxi back and forth but it was okay. The surroundings are beautiful.

Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel boasts a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 2 km from downtown Guilin. Beautiful area, and far from city center. Comfortable clean rooms with amenities and nice view. Breakfast was so good and freshly prepared. They provide electric bike and bicycles for guests to use, free of charge. Incredibly attentive and cooperative host, thank you Mr. Xiao. He gifted us watermelon and cookies before taking off to our next stop.

Very close to West Street, yet the neighborhood around the inn is calm and pleasant. The room is neat, cozy, and cleaned every day. Lily is incredibly helpful and cheerful. Just 5 km from Yangshuo, The Giggling Tree is an unique guest house which is located in the tiny village of Little Mountain Gate. The Giggling hotel has great location at the Yulong river. we rented electric scooters to ride along this river. you can also ride to Yangshuo downtown. Kids like the outside swimming pools a lot. they swim twice a day. the large one is 1,40m deep. food is excellent and affordable (chinese and western). kids like the french fries with self made chicken nuggets a lot, we ate other chinese food, all very delicious (salads, eggplant, lemon chicken etc). Employees are very friendly and help with everything. Large rooms have good airconditiing, large comfortable beds (with mosquito nets if needed) and bathrooms are large and very comfortable and stylish. we also took taxi to Guilin (sevenstars park and downtown) and ofcourse we also went to ride boat on the Li river and to dazhai longji rice terraces. Swimming pool was a big suprise and big PLUS.
