Situated in Villavieja, Avani del desierto has a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. This is by far one of the best customer service I’ve received in all the hostels I’ve done through South America. The owners care so much about our experience and make sure we get all the help we need. They assisted us with our tours, they were more than comprehensive with our super late check-in and little issues and they created an absolutely lovely atmosphere. The place is beautiful. Truly an oasis. Colorful, full of plants and very private. The accomodation was clean, the bathroom was so nice and it felt very comfortable and intimate. I highly recommend the place. You can walk to everywhere in the village and the dogs there are the sweetest. Thanks again!

Set in La Victoria, Campamento Estrella Casa del Ángel features accommodation with seating area. The property has pool and garden views. This hotel is truly amazing!! Very romantic with great desert views and a gorgeous pool. The staff was amazing and had great attention to detail. Highly recommend staying at least 2 nights to be sure to see the stars and enjoy a full day with the guide provided by the hotel. Also appreciated that they sent the guide to show us the way to the hotel once we arrived at villavieja. Would stay again.

Featuring a year-round outdoor pool and mountain views, APARTAMENTO NUEVO AMOBLADO Neiva Conjunto Residencial Goya 501 is located in Neiva. The kind attention l got from Mrs Patricia, she is very nice explaining the property, l got the apartment l was expecting, love the views from the mountains, has lots of natural light and no mosquitoes going into the apartment, has additional rooms and beds that can accommodate more people, like the kitchen and the main room was spacious. In general l like it a lot. It’s a new apartment complex with private security it made you feel safer in. In general great attention and service from everyone there.

A recently renovated chalet situated in San Agustín, Cabañas Alpina features a garden. The property has garden views. Very friendly and helpful host. Nice breakfast. Very cute dogs. Very beautiful, calm place and close to a viewpoint. A bit outside town. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Set in Villavieja in the Huila region, Hostal Arámbulo features a patio and inner courtyard views. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The host made us feeling like home. She is extremely welcoming, prepares amazing breakfast, coffee and house-made lemonade in-between. I can definitely recommend the offered tour to the Tatacoa desert. They also organized a collectivo back to neiva for us.

Mirador Valle de la Tatacoa in Villavieja features a garden and a terrace. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. It was really cool to be out in the middle of nowhere in the desert. The hotel is very rustic and located on a functioning ranch with cows and horses and everything. It is also walking distance from the two grey desert hiking trails. The owner was really friendly and fun to chat with as well as helpful with anything we needed. The food was also some of the best hotel food we’ve had.

Set in Gigante, Villa Sonia Eco-Hostel has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, restaurant, and free WiFi. The accommodation offers room service, a tour desk and luggage storage for guests. Sonia is a sweetheart and a great host. Her staff is also amazing. We had meals cooked on site, and it was delicious. The place is just great all around. If you visit, say hello to her parrot 🦜. He's very talkative.
