Set in Quesada, 42 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Palo Alto Glamping Hotel offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. This was a special place. It was farther away from Arenal than I expected, which at first was disapointing; however, there are beautiful hikes are areas all around here that are stunning and almost empty. Excellent, comfortable facility with good food and wonderful staff.

Situated 35 km from Poas National Park, 5.9 km from Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium and 11 km from Parque Viva, Airport Green Studio provides accommodation located in Río Segundo. Sweet little space inside a locked gate. The unit was clean and comfortable. Like everyone says, the owners are warm and friendly.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Yarumo Lodge, Río Celeste Black Chalets provides accommodation with patio, around 16 km from Rio Celeste Waterfall. The chalet looks just like the pictures and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed watching the birds that came down to eat the bannanas growing next to the chalet and had some incredible sightings of toucans. Although out of town it was easy to get around.

Located in Fortuna in the Alajuela region, La Fortuna Donwtown Dreams has a patio. Location was great, close to downtown but in a quiet area. Maikol and Grace went above and beyond to help me plan my stay in Costa Rica. Maikol arranged transport from the airport and to my next destination. My dog was safe and had a friend to play with. Grace showed me some walks and let me practice my Spanish with her. The bed was comfy and I used the washer and drier. The kitchen is well equipped, it even has a kettle for tea.

Walking distance to a restaurant and supermarket. Big, comfy bed. Kitchen with fridge. Small bar on location.

Boasting garden views, Jordi´s House features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 6.8 km from Kalambu Hot Springs. The accommodation was in a quiet neighbourhood close to the main strip in La Fortuna. The home was clean, large, and had incredibly comfortable beds. We loved having a quiet place as a home base to counter all of the fun we were having in La Fortuna. Jordi was a very helpful, kind, and responsive host. He was very accommodating with unforeseen changes to our plans and we were quite grateful.
