Rustic House Punta Rucia features a terrace and is located in Punta Rucia, within just a few steps of Punta Rucia Beach and 2 km of Ensenada Beach. It was unique, fun and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and gave great advice about how to best enjoy the area.

Situated in Cabarete, 400 metres from Kite Beach, Kibayo Lagoon Villa features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. This was a little piece of heaven! We honestly thought it would be a scam, as the reviews felt too good to be true. But it is just like the photos - a quiet and beautiful oasis.

Boasting a patio with inner courtyard views, a bar and a shared lounge, Garden By The Sea can be found in Sosúa, close to Laguna Beach and 14 km from Cabarete. The hotel itself is not very big, so it felt like I was visiting a friend in the suburbs: it’s very quiet and you literally live in the garden, full of trees, flowers and birds. I was there in off season, so I was the only guest and I had the pool to my own. The room was super cozy and comfortable, I had everything I needed. I liked Nikki’s attention to details everywhere around the property: starting with styling of the room and ending with beach stuff available for you (like umbrellas, beach fridge, etc). Breakfasts were simple but very delicious. There’s a kitchen outdoors with BBQ facilities. The whole property is behind the barrier and the territory felt very safe, there are also several parking spots at the property. Each room has its own internet router, and the quality was pretty good. At first I couldn’t find a way to the beach, so ask for directions in advance, but when I finally got there, I could see why people were saying about semi-private beach in reviews: not very big, quite clean, no restaurants or sunbeds (although might be because I was in off season there). Bella-the-dog was accompanying me to the beach and guarding me there all the time :) there are also three very cuddly kitties on the territory :) Overall I liked the place very much, Nikki is super nice and helpful, it felt like home. I will definitely recommend this place and stay there again if I’m back to the country.

With garden views, Villa Rosa is set in Punta Rucia and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. This is the best place to stay in Punta Rucia. Staff were amazing, always attentive and accommodating. Location is perfect across the beach, breakfast looking out the ocean. Dinner recommended for sure, fresh caught. Situated within 1.3 km of Laguna Beach and 14 km of Cabarete, B&B Pavillion offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Sosúa. The property is beautiful, very well located and maintained and the staff is amazing!

Set in San Felipe de Puerto Plata, 2.5 km from Long Beach, Casa Ola & Surf features rooms with sea views and free WiFi. It is situated 2 km from Fortaleza San Felipe and offers a shared kitchen. It was a quick, last-minute stop in Puerto Plata, and I found an absolutely amazing place! The hosts were incredibly friendly and made my stay feel so comfortable and welcoming. They also helped me a lot by recommending great places to visit around the area. The room was spotless and felt brand new. And the bed? So cozy I never wanted to get up! I truly loved my stay and would 100% come back! The location was excellent. I could easily walk to all the main places, which made everything very convenient. The beach was super close, and I really enjoyed my stay. I had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

Located in San Felipe de Puerto Plata and only 1.4 km from Long Beach, Crown ll-3 Bedrooms-Pool-Close to everything! provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Excellent owners, very responsive and organized. The apartment was very clean, with a great small swimming pool and patio. Nice clean bathrooms with good amenities. Kitchen is sufficiently equipped for the breakfasts and dinners at home. Wifi is stable and fast.
