Sofia Guest House has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Luxor. Very quiet, clean, good value, there is also a kitchen if you need to cook your own food, I had my flight in the afternoon and the owner let me stay until 17.00 without charging me for more. The boy that helps is very kind and not for the tips. My room had a beautiful Nile view. I was ill and the owner prepared special tea with herbs for me.

In the West bank district of Luxor, close to Medinet Habu Temple, Luxor Villa Hatshepsut has a garden and a washing machine. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. This is a very lovely guesthouse, beautifully constructed, with 4 rooms. The manager and his young staff, Ibrahim, were both very nice and helpful and hospitable. Ibrahim was always making sure, I was okay and that I got back to the guesthouse allright. He even hung out in the garden and taught me some arabic :-) Also their driver was very nice and took me to Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple. Prices were okay. I really enjoyed my time here and can only highly recommend!

I contacted the Guest-house to pick me up from airport they pick me up from airport to the Guest-house. Absolutely wonderful experience, a warm welcome, a home away from home. Delicious foods! Great host . The Room was clean and Beautiful view . Highly recommended as a base to visit the sites on the west bank.

Featuring quiet street views, Karnak Flats is situated in the East bank district of Luxor, 3.1 km from Luxor Museum and 5.5 km from Luxor Train Station. The accommodation has a spa bath and a hot tub.... Clean place. Helpful host. Good lighting in all rooms. Nice to be able to use washing machine. It is our second time in the flats.

Located in Luxor, 1.2 km from Medinet Habu Temple, Nour El Balad features a garden and views of the city. Nour el Balad is an absolute gem tucked away from all the crowds. The guesthouse is a traditionally built home with lovely little details and decorations everywhere, and palm furniture including the beds. The breakfast included is delicious, but make sure to stay for lunch or dinner — the roast duck and molokhiya are absolutely outstanding! Luxor’s restaurant scene isn’t amazing and we ended up eating dinner at Nour al Balad every night of our week-long stay. Abdullah and his team offer warm hospitality and can also help with transfers and taxis as needed. We have stayed there twice now and can’t wait to return!!
