The garden is perfect to chill outdoors while staying in the comfort and privacy of your home. The heated pool was an extra perk. The host was very friendly and helpful. The price is very reasonable. I ate out most of my stay, hired a jeep driver and toured around all the time and still ended up paying less than what other hotels in Tunis charged. Tunis is a lovely village on its own, perfect to enjoy the Egyptian countryside without giving up 'western' comforts. With the help of a driver, at a very reasonable price, one can also explore the wonderful Fayoum area which is really rich with naturalistic and archeological sites that are worth visiting

And if you need a safari or adventure Walid the owner is the best guy to give an advice. The place is very relaxing and makes you feel the country side. If you are looking for something basic just to relax out of our modern life I recommend going there.

It felt like a heavenly space, overlooking the oasis, the lake and the desert on the other shore. The pool was the perfect invitation to just sit and enjoy the energy. I stayed in a tent and I slept very well and comfortably. The breakfast was sumptuous, nutritious and delicious.
