Exceptional value for money! Huge room, great view over the city - well equipped private kitchenette area, large bathroom, plenty of storage shelves etc. Welcoming, helpful staff. I was very pleasantly surprised - this property exceeded my expectations and was one of the best value-for-money propositions during my travels over 2 weeks (& 8 different hotels/properties) in northern Spain. I only regretted my short stay didn't allow me opportunity to use the amazing swimming pool on the roof.

Situated in Bilbao, 200 metres from Arriaga Theatre, Hotel Tayko Bilbao was built in 1924. The property is within just 0.2 km of Catedral de Santiago and 15 minutes' walk from Guggenheim Museum. Great location, lovely helpful staff, comfy beds, hot showers. We had a wonderful stay here.

Set on the Bay of Biscay and surrounded by mountains, the Higueralde guest house is located 15-minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers rooms with central heating and free Wi-Fi. Casa Rural Higeralde was fantastic. We have been traveling for six weeks and this was one of the best places in which we have stayed. We enjoyed the view, the countryside and best of all the breakfast. The property had an apple orchard from which they made their own cider. We even enjoyed the steep walk up and down the hill to the town centre. The room was big with a delightful balcony. Secure parking for our bicycles.

This stylish design hotel offers free Wi-Fi and spacious rooms with flat-screen satellite TV. It is situated 10 minutes' walk from Bilbao Cathedral and the popular Seven Streets district. This hotel exceeded my expectations. We travel a lot as a family and let me say I wish I could just find this hotel and every Country I’ve been too. Beyond cleaned I watched literally the housekeeper Pillar get on her knees and clean under the bed even seeing Victoria wiping down all the door handles. Blew me away. Even the food was amazing and so clean I could go on and on about this hotel.

Less than 5 km from the coast and beside the Basque town of Irun, this charming hotel has a lovely garden and free internet. Great location for travelling back to England from southern Spain - just off motorway Fabulous clean room with very comfy bed and lovely hot powerful shower to help us wake up in the morning ready for the rest of our journey! Staff were very friendly and helpful Will definitely stop here again
