The stay was excellent. I felt like being in an hotel in the USA National Parks... The hotel was new, rooms and especially beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was great and we had dinner one night and it was good and at a reasonable price. Sauna available for guests (for free). Driving to the national park is only a couple of kilometres. Overall a great experience and we will definitely come back!

Sauna was incredible, a unique and unforgettable experience. Rustic look, but with modern comforts like microwave, coffee machine, water boiler, and fridge. Private location and easy to adjust temperature using AC/heating unit.

Very surprise to find anti-insect net outside the windows in our room. So we could keep the window open during the whole stay. Which is very considerate during this extreme hot summer in this year.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We did not expect it to be so beautiful, cozy, and peaceful. The room is located in an old building with a special atmosphere. Even though the building is old, everything feels warm, comfortable, and very welcoming. We especially liked that there is only one room in the building, so nobody disturbed us. We could enjoy the quiet surroundings and the wonderful view of Koli's main square right from our windows. The room is spacious, with very high ceilings and large windows, which make it bright and full of natural light. Waking up in the morning with such a view was a real pleasure. The only thing that surprised us at first was that the kitchen and the shower are on a different floor. However, since we were the only guests, this was not a problem at all and did not affect our stay. We would be happy to stay here again and can warmly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys peace, comfort, and a unique atmosphere.

The property is a nice functional house with kids space on first floor and a large bedroom (with optional second) on the first floor. It’s cosy, kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. The house is close from the lake, with a boat.

Set 1.5 km from the town of Koli, Kolin Lotus Cottages are located close to Lake Pielinen. These self-catering, semi-detached cottages have a children’s playground and BBQ facilities.
