Food and service was great. I choose this hotel as it is pet friendly and myself and dog received a warm welcome with dog towels and bowl provided (which was appreciated after a long wet day walking). Good location for both beaches and the town centre for wander. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Pet friendly and very welcoming, little extras for dog like a tennis ball, treats and poo bags in addition to providing a bed and a towel for him. Room was beautifully furnished and decorated, linen was crisp and fresh. Bed was amazingly comfortable, had a fantastic nights sleep; breakfast was fabulous and they allowed me to eat it in the guest lounge with my dog rather than in the main breakfast room (where dogs weren't allowed). Dedicated parking and honesty bar was really helpful after a long drive. All in all a little gem.
We loved the location, stunning views and the fact it was dog friendly. It was a really nice touch to have the dog bed, bowl and a couple of treats for our dog. The breakfast was really good, lots to choose from. The room was warm, huge, with a seating area, comfy bed and massive balcony/outdoor space. The indoor pool was good. The man maintaining it was super helpful. The lounge/bar area was nice with lots of seating for everyone. The majority of staff were friendly. Plenty of parking and well maintained outdoor space
Lovely caravan for a family break - clean and welcoming on arrival - check in etc simple - barrier access and key safe info was perfect for us as we had no idea of arrival time really!! Location fab for access to Porth beach and pet friendly accommodation and beach (seasonal), plus dog exercise nearby ;-) - lovely quiet spot with great beaches on the doorstep - can even walk directly to Newquay highlife if you want a good walk with great views on the way (50 minutes or so on parts of the coast path)
Stay over bank holiday weekend. Large family room, lovely fresh smelling room, very pet friendly. Shower was lovely! Pub food was simple and delicious, dogs allowed in bar. Staff very friendly. Pub very busy with locals, who were a little rowdy, but they were very friendly and polite to us. Created a fun atmosphere. I imagine Sunday evenings and weeknights are quieter. Location on main busy road, easy to find/access. Noisy road but this did not bother us even with the window open over night.
