Victorian House ligger i Grasmere, 12 km fra Windermere. Der tilbydes begrænset parkering efter først til mølle-princippet. Værelserne har fladskærms-tv. As a cyclist I asked to laundry. They did with no charge.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Lovely big room. Very convenient parking. Extremely nice staff. Excellent breakfast.

Located near Orton, Westmorland Hotel Tebay offers en suite accommodation with superfast WiFi access throughout and parking facilities free of charge. Everything. Room, service and food were excellent. Very attentive and pleasant staff. Particularly one young man who served drinks when we arrived and then breakfast on Sunday morning

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. By far, one of my favourite places to stay! We loved the outdoor terrace, the spectacular views and the genuine staff! Not to mention, great breakfast! Also, loved the idea of having dogs allowed - there were so many around which really added to the wonderful ambience :)

Borrett Escapes - Luxury Pods ligger i Sedbergh i regionen Cumbria og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering samt adgang til et boblebad. The family were so friendly and helpful. It was so peaceful and the views were beautiful. The hot tub as well as the pod was spotless, plus you had towels for the bathroom and separate ones for the hot tub.

Lovely inn in the Lake District, walking distance to some nice and less busy hikes like Barrow. Delicious breakfast menu. Very clean and comfortable room. Hope to stay here again!

Cumberland House ligger i Cockermouth, 22 km fra Derwentwater og 46 km fra Wasdale, i et område hvor man kan cykle. The location was great. Right in the middle of town, was a great base. The whole House presented excellent very new and fresh. A large residence with plenty of room. We stayed as a family of five , but I could see it bringing comfortable for more people. The touches of family friendly games were adored by my children. A full size Washing Maxhine with a separate dryer is a great addition. Combo washer/dryers are ok but seem to take a lot longer. We had an issue with transport and ended up arriving quite late. Which I am now disappointed I did not get the full experience. NOTE: We arrived almost 7 hours after our scheduled check in. The host was exceptional in accommodating our late arrival. I cannot praise Gillian enough.

Keepers Cottage ligger i Bowness-on-Windermere, 39 km fra Derwentwater, 43 km fra Muncaster Castle og 43 km fra Askham Hall. Dette overnatningssted ligger 4 minutters gang fra World of Beatrix Potter.... We enjoyed the comfort and proximity to all we wanted to see and do.
